GlasGrid®
Self-Adhesive Pavement Reinforcing Mesh
GlasGrid® is a self-adhesive pavement reinforcing mesh designed to improve the performance of AC overlays in pavement construction and rehabilitation. GlasGrid® is designed to reduce both thermal and stress related cracks from reflecting through a new asphalt overlay to the surface. GlasGrid® is composed of high modulus fibreglass strands coated with a polymer modified bitumen and a self-adhesive backing.
Types
GlasGrid® is available in two different strengths - GG 8511 (100kn x 100kn strength) and GG 8550 (50kn x 50kn strength) are the "Complete Road System" designed for full width or reinforcement of the total area. Grid spacings within the mesh is 20mm x 20mm.
